Welcome to Villa Jaguar, #25, in the Bahia Pez Vela Resort. Our Villa sleeps 10 and is 30 minutes from Liberia International Airport on the Pacific Ocean. The resort is nestled into a quiet cove with beautiful black volcanic sand, clear waters surrounded by tropical forests and wildlife. There are three pools, two are beach front and attached to a gourmet restaurant called Soluna Beach Bistro and AOI Sushi. The food and staff are amazing and the tropical drinks are mixed to perfection. The restaurant offers room service as well as a chef service in villa for private dinners or a beach dinner or a packed lunch to take on your travels. The third pool is an infinity pool high up at the top of the resort with gorgeous ocean and mountain views, an amazing spot to relax and watch the sun set.

Our Villa has direct ocean views from most windows. The views are especially breathtaking sitting on the upper balcony of the Master bedroom. The Villa has four bedrooms and four bathrooms with a full kitchen and all the amenities. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper floor and one bedroom that is separate from the main villa. This “Casita” boasts a full washroom, bedroom with King Bed, air-conditioning, fridge, microwave, coffee maker & kettle.

The outdoor seating area on the private patio is where you will spend much of your time when not sitting poolside or swimming in the warm ocean. The comfortable outdoor covered patio offers beautiful ocean and mountain views perfect for sipping coffee in the morning or relaxing at the end of the day with a drink watching the sun go down.

The Villa is located about 1.5 to 2 minutes walk to the ocean and just above the restaurant and pools. It is also conveniently located directly across from the office where you will check in. The office and staff, Cesar, Abi, Randall and Jackie are exceptional and can easily answer any and all inquiries regarding the resort and surrounding areas. The office can book transportation for you (airport pick-up or a car/golfcart delivered to your villa) as well as any activities you wish to try. They are polite and professional and will ensure your stay is as enjoyable and hassle free as possible.

Our Villa has all new furniture, beds, linens and beach towels. There are two smart T.V. ‘s with cable, one in the main villa and the other in the Casita. Wifi is available that is fast and efficient.

At Bahia Pez Vela you can access all that there is to offer. The on-site Beach Club provides a pool table, ping pong and other games for your enjoyment. Kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling gear can be rented at the Beach Club. Beach chairs are also available.

Conveniently located near the town of Playas Del Coco (approximately 4km) where you will find grocery stores, excellent and varied restaurants, pubs offering live bands and karaoke. The famous Father Roosters restaurant and bar, on the beach, is in the next bay over, a few minutes drive or a 10 minute hike around the rocks when the tide is out. It also offers live bands and some of the most beautiful sunsets in all of Costa Rica.

There are so many incredible activities and adventures close by. Diamante Eco Adventure Park offers exhilarating zip-lining, ATV tours, and an animal sanctuary. Another exciting spot is the Heliconias Rainforest and Hanging Bridges. Surfing and lessons are just over an hour away in the beach town of Tamarindo. Also sunset tours and fishing can be done right from the ease of our own beach. All of these activities can be booked through our office.
